It was a sight that would have had Santa going ho, ho hotel and Ebenezer Scrooge shouting Monkbar humbug!
While most people are thinking about their summer holidays, staff at the award-winning Best Western Monkbar Hotel were busy launching their 2008 Christmas party nights.
And to ensure the December evenings will be real crackers, two “Santa Babes” were stocking up the hotel’s sh-elves with a bottle or two of Christmas cheer.
Monkbar Hotel director June Nelsey said: “They say Christmas gets earlier every year, and here we are at the Monkbar Hotel launching our party night packages
“Our Santa Babas certainly helped put a smile on the faces of a number of people, and we were extremely ‘crateful’ for their efforts filling the festive stockings with wine, beer and spirits.”
June added anyone making a booking before September 1 will get half a bottle of wine free per person.
