York Hotel's Wedding Fair Adds Sparkle To Couples' Receptions

A York hotel is promising to add a touch of sparkle to its wedding receptions next year!
For every couple visiting this Sunday’s (November 1) Best Western Monkbar Hotel Wedding Fair - and booking the venue to host their big day - will get complimentary welcoming drinks included in their package.
The eleventh annual event, which takes place between noon and 4pm, features a host of York companies specialising in a wide range of wedding services including photography, car hire, flowers, creative cakes and stationery.
Monkbar Hotel Director June Nelsey said: “With many couples feeling the pinch, we are doing all we can to make weddings more affordable whilst maintaining the elegance of the day, by including a sparkling drinks reception for anyone booking on the day.
“And as no wedding is complete without champagne to toast the wonderful occasion, we hope this will enable soon-to-be brides and grooms to cut back on the expenses without cutting back on their big day.”
